“Shaolin Warriors” Perform Tonight

Shaolin WarriorsThe UT Cultural Attractions Committee presents "Shaolin Warriors," 7:30 pm tonight, Nov 5, at the Bijou Theatre.

In a fully choreographed theatrical production, the Shaolin Warriors bring the remarkable skill, stunning movement, and spectacular imagery of kung fu to the stage. Students of the Shaolin school are known for their disciplined and deadly martial arts prowess. They have trained from a very young age to perform feats once thought only possible through the magic of movies.

This production features many forms of Shaolin kung fu, as well as a look into the daily life of the warriors and their Zen philosophy.

Tickets are $5 for UT students with ID; $20 for UT faculty and staff; and $25 for the general public. Parking downtown in the State Street and Market Square garages is free after 6 pm. For more info call 974-5455 or e-mail cac@utk.edu.
