Campus Improvements to Change Traffic Patterns

Construction conesImprovements to both the Glocker Business Administration Building and Neyland Stadium may force some changes in how faculty, staff and students get around campus in the coming months.

Andy Holt Avenue will be reduced to one westbound lane of traffic between Phillip Fulmer Way and Volunteer Blvd. The lane closing will allow for demolition of the existing sidewalk and installation of site utilities. Normal traffic will resume Aug. 1 after completion of a new sidewalk. Access to Staff lot 9 will not be affected.

Construction at Neyland Stadium between gates 13 and 25 is slated to end in early August. This stretch of Neyland, running along Phillip Fulmer Way and Middle Dr., is a designated hard hat area and is not to be used as a cut-through for those with classes in the stadium. For your own safety, please do not enter any of the designated construction areas. UTPD officers will be in the area to assist pedestrians and motorists. If you have any questions, please contact UTPD at 974-3114.
