Graduate Student Receives $90k NSF Fellowship
Christine Biermann, a graduate student in geography, has been awarded a three-year graduate research fellowship from the National Science Foundation worth $90,000. In addition, she will receive an education stipend of $10,500 each year.
The NSF awards are given to students based on their potential as young scientists and for intellectual merit and broader impact. Biermann is a first-year graduate student.
