UT eTeaching Certificate Program Begins Sept. 15
The University of Tennessee’s Department of Distance Education and Independent Study will begin its next eTeaching Certificate Program on Monday, Sept. 15.
The program is designed to provide the essential tools and strategies for the effective design, development, and delivery of online instruction. It is open for faculty, administrators, staff, trainers and others interested in teaching in the online environment, both within and external to UT.
Participants must complete both parts of the program to earn certification. Part I is offered this fall and Part II begins in January. The practicum involves developing your own course or course materials for online delivery.
Registration costs $800, and transfer vouchers are accepted. Registration is limited to 12 participants per course.
For more info call 974-5134 or visit the program Web site.
