Make Orange GreenMake Orange Green Week continues today with several activities on campus to raise awareness of the environment and the role we all play.

Events include:

  • Lunch-and-learn lecture, 12:15 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. in 221 University Center. Speaker: Dennis Bernard, KUB. Topic: Practical tips for saving energy at home.
  • Residence hall light bulb exchange, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Laurel Apartments, Volunteer Hall and Clement Hall. Turn in your incandescent bubls and trade them for new low-wattage fluorescent bulbs.
  • Screening of the film "A Crude Awakening," hosted by Make Orange Green and the East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. in 32 Alumni Memorial Building. Free and open to the public.
