Pre-Game Faculty Showcase Spotlights Smoky Mountains
Associate Geography Professor Henri D. Grissino-Mayer asks, "Will Our Great Smoky Mountains Someday Go Up in Flames?" at this week’s Pre-Game Faculty Showcase in the UC Ballroom at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Grissino-Mayer is an expert in climatology and analyzes tree rings to reconstruct past environments.
Faculty Showcases are free and open to the public and begin two hours before each home football game. All sessions take place in the UC ballroom and last 45 minutes.
