Ready for the World CafeThis week the Ready for the World Café features Asian, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food.

The menu, designed by students Heather Hartman and Liz Lyons, includes Thai-style chicken in coconut sauce, couscous with garbanzo beans and cumin, pork chops in apricot sauce, Arabian salad with dill and pita crisps, tilapia with Agrodolce sauce, corn and zucchini sauté and Spanish ricotta lasagna.

The café is an international buffet that is operated by students in the Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism 445 course. Most weeks, it is open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday in the Hermitage Room on the third floor of the University Center. Due to the Board of Trustees meetings taking place this week, the café will be closed tomorrow.

Diners pay $10 for the all-you-can-eat buffet or $8.50 for a plate of food to carry out.
