Switch Your Thinking

With the holidays fast approaching, all students, faculty and staff are reminded to keep energy conservation in mind before departing for Thanksgiving break.

Please turn off lights, computers and heating where applicable, and unplug non-essential appliances as they will continue to draw power when not in use. Your actions will make a difference in UT Knoxville’s Switch Your Thinking campaign, as the campus aims for a 10 percent reduction in energy use this fiscal year – a goal that would save $2 million this year alone.

Your cooperation is appreciated as we work to conserve resources across campus. For more information on how you can help and stories about how others have joined in the effort, please visit http://utk.edu/features/switch.
