UT faculty and staff are invited to an employee appreciation day tomorrow as the Lady Vol softball team takes on the Lady Miners of the University of Texas El Paso. Employees and one guest will receive free admission to the game with a staff ID as well as giveaways, prizes and a concession stand coupon.

“Last year’s employee appreciation event was such a success, we wanted to invite the UT faculty and staff back for another game,” said Joan Cronan, UT Women’s Athletic Director. “Our players and coaches are who make our teams successful. Likewise, the employees of the University of Tennessee are who make our university one of the finest institutions in the world and we hope everyone will join us on April 1 as a thank-you for their hard work and loyalty.”

The game begins at 5 p.m. and takes place at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium off Neyland Drive. Parking is available at the stadium. For more information contact Stephanie Dawkins at 974-9499.
