Thanks in part to many former and current UT faculty, staff and students and the generosity of the University of Tennessee, WUOT 91.9 FM has been on the air for 60 years.

Celebrate this milestone with a station open house, 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18. A short program begins at 5:30 p.m. Meet and take photos with staff, enjoy refreshments, record a testimonial about what WUOT means to you, get a behind-the-scenes tour of the station, have your caricature drawn, enter drawings to win prizes including an iPod Shuffle and Knoxville Symphony Orchestra tickets, and much more.

The radio station is located in Room 209 of the Communications Building. For more info, call 974-9558, visit wuot.org or e-mail lbeckma1@utk.edu.
