Robert Bast specializes in the study of religious reform movements in late medieval and early modern Europe, with an emphasis on the Protestant Reformation and the Catholic Counter-Reformation. He can also discuss the religious and cultural issues in the Dan Brown books “The DaVinci Code” and “Angels and Demons.” Bast is a past recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and from the Fulbright Foundation.
