UT Employees with State Health Insurance to Get Free Flu Shots
University of Tennessee employees who have health insurance through the state’s group insurance plans can now get vaccinations for seasonal flu, the H1N1 flu, and pneumonia at no charge.
If you have already paid for your vaccination, you can submit appropriate receipts to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.
The health plans will now pay for vaccines for all state insurance program participants regardless of whether you receive them from a pharmacist or at your doctor’s office.
Co-pays for flu-related prescription drugs will now be lower – only $25 – with a prescription from your doctor.
