ARAMARK, Campus Groups Give Reusable Aluminum Water Bottles to UT Students
KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Student Government Association (SGA) has teamed up with UT Athletics, Volunteer Dining/ARAMARK and Students Promoting Environmental Action in Knoxville (SPEAK) to provide university students with reusable water bottles.
Ten thousand reusable aluminum water bottles will be distributed to students with a UT student ID, on a first come first served basis, on the UC Plaza during a live remote with WUTK 90.3 “The Rock” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 30.
The funds used to purchase the aluminum bottles were generated from the sale of the “All Your Might” shirts as part of the Power Tee Program.
The Power Tee Program, driven by UT and Adidas, creates a new shirt each season for UT football fans to purchase. The profits derived from the sale of these shirts are used to fund student-driven, campus initiatives.
