Law Lecture on Health Reform, Civil Rights
A talk by alumni Jim Pyles, co-founder of one of the oldest free-standing health law firms in the country, will address this situation during a talk at noon on Friday, November 2, in the College of Law Room 132.
His talk is entitled “Health Reform, Health Information Privacy, Same Sex Marriage, and Individual Autonomy Under the Constitution.” It is free and open to the public.
Pyles is the co-founder of Powers, Pyles, Sutter, and Verville, P.C. He graduated from UT’s College of Law in 1972 and has more than forty years of experience in litigation, counseling, and lobbying in the field of health law and policy.
