Football Season Ticket Prices to Rise
UT football season ticket prices for faculty and staff are going up. Athletics Department officials have notified season ticket holders that they will no longer offer a 50-percent discount on season tickets.

Get Enrolled in the Sick Leave Bank
Employee Relations is now accepting applications for enrollment to the Sick Leave Bank, which provides members who are experiencing serious illness the opportunity to request additional paid leave from the bank after exhausting all of their own accrued sick leave and vacation leave. Commuter of the Quarter Makes Orange Green
In 1999, Parking and Transit Services’ Robert Davis started riding the Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) bus to work everyday. Now he has logged nearly 500 rides and has also become friends with fellow commuter, UT Human Resources’ Cheryl Hodge, who nominated him for the KAT award. "Robert was my instructor in ‘Bus Riding 101,’" says Hodge. "He has become a real friend."

UT to Pay Privilege Tax on Behalf of UT Employees
For the past five years, Chapter 856, Public Acts of 2002 has permitted the university to pay one job-related professional privilege tax on behalf of its faculty and staff. Provided there are no changes to this legislation, the university will once again remit this payment on the behalf of UT employees.
