Communications Toolkit
The Office of Communications and Marketing, which publishes Tennessee Today, offers you this “Communications Toolkit” to assist you with staying informed and helping you to spread the word about your campus event or news item. Listed below are various avenues that may be available to you depending upon the nature of your event or news. If you are uncertain where to begin, please contact our office at 974-2225 or utnews@utk.edu and we will gladly assist you.

Social Media Best Practices
UT Knoxville supports the use of social media by departments and units in the course of their work to connect with students, fellow faculty and staff, alumni, fans, colleagues, and more. However, social media should only serve to supplement and not replace the official channels of communicating with your audiences. This document is designed to provide guidance, advice, and tips on how to do so effectively, safely, and within university guidelines.
