		<p begin="00:00:05" style="1">My name is Michelle Wieczynski and I am a junior majoring in chemistry</p>
		<p begin="00:00:09" style="1">who plans to go to dental school. I am also involved in VolsTeach, teaching </p>
		<p begin="00:00:13" style="1">math and science classes in K-12 schools. I took Jennifer Fowler's math 142</p>
		<p begin="00:00:18" style="1">class in the fall of 2009. I had taken calculus II in high school</p>
		<p begin="00:00:23" style="1">but by the time I took her class I had forgotten the bulk of what</p>
		<p begin="00:00:26" style="1">calculus I did know. Jennifer Fowler was always available for me to ask her questions.</p>
		<p begin="00:00:31" style="1">Whether it was during her office hours, through e-mail, during class or even right</p>
		<p begin="00:00:36" style="1">after class. She genuinely cared about whether or not I understood the material.</p>
		<p begin="00:00:41" style="1">I put forth a lot of effort to work out all the problems I could,</p>
		<p begin="00:00:45" style="1">and she saw how hard I was trying and went the extra mile to understand it.</p>
		<p begin="00:00:50" style="1">Her answers were always clear and constructive. I would spend hours and hours on</p>
		<p begin="00:00:55" style="1">homework questions, and when I just wasn't getting it, I would go down to see her</p>
		<p begin="00:00:59" style="1">at her office and within five minutes all my problems were solved. </p>
		<p begin="00:01:03" style="1">Also, every class period she would take a few minutes to answer homework questions.</p>
		<p begin="00:01:08" style="1">This is what I loved most about her teaching style. Answering those questions </p>
		<p begin="00:01:12" style="1">together in class made the students interact and ask questions</p>
		<p begin="00:01:16" style="1">that we could all benefit from. This made it so that everyone who did the</p>
		<p begin="00:01:20" style="1">homework problems was on the same page and I really liked that.</p>
		<p begin="00:01:23" style="1">It takes a lot of time and effort to receive an A in a math class,</p>
		<p begin="00:01:27" style="1">but a caring, involved teacher is the base. Jennifer Fowler is by far the best</p>
		<p begin="00:01:31" style="1">math teacher I've ever had.</p>
