Students attend specialized classes and audit one academic and one physical education class per semester. “They don’t necessarily have to have a high school diploma, they don’t have to meet the eligibility requirements of the university, it’s a different process for them to apply, but they’re gaining so much from the two years experience here,” said Liz Fussell, the program’s director.
