<p>As you return to classes for the fall 2012 semester, please check your schedule on <a href="http://MyUTK.utk.edu">MyUTK</a> frequently. It is possible that changes have been made to your classes, so be sure to know what time and where your classes are meeting. Changes to the location of your classes can occur after classes have started, so you should continue to check your schedule at <a href="http://MyUTK.utk.edu">MyUTK.utk.edu</a> during the first week of classes.</p>
<p>Remember to check your e-mail frequently for important messages about your schedule. If you have added yourself to a waitlist and a seat has become available, you will receive an e-mail letting you know that you need to add the course. The course will not be added automatically&#8211;you must go to MyUTK to add the course or you may lose your opportunity to register. There is only a limited time available for you once you have been notified that a seat is available. All waitlists will end the midnight before the first day of classes.</p>
<p>Know the deadlines for dropping and adding courses by checking the Timetable/Financial Deadlines Calendar <a href="http://registrar.tennessee.edu/academic_calendar">online</a>.</p>

<p>Your HOPE Scholarship hours and grade point averages can now be viewed through MyUTK, <a href="https://myutk.utk.edu/">https://myutk.utk.edu/</a>. To view your HOPE Scholarship information, log into MyUTK using your NetID and NetID password. Scroll down to the student academic links box on the lower left side of the page. Click on &#8216;Self-Service Banner.&#8217; Click on the &#8216;Student&#8217; link. On the next page, click on the &#8216;Student Records&#8217; link. The link &#8216;View HOPE Scholarship Hours &amp; GPA&#8217; is at the bottom of the first page in self-service.</p>
<p>Questions concerning your HOPE Scholarship should be directed to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at finaid@utk.edu.</p>

<p>Subject: MyUTK and Spring 2011 Timetable of Classes Go Live Monday, Sept. 20</p>
<p>The new Banner Student Information System and MyUTK go live on Monday, Sept. 20. The Spring 2011 timetable will be available by visiting the A-to-Z section of the UT Knoxville webpage at <a href="http://www.utk.edu/alpha">http://www.utk.edu/alpha</a>, clicking the letter &#8220;T&#8221; and searching for &#8220;Timetable of Classes.&#8221;</p>
<p>Students will begin registering on Thursday, Sept. 30, in the new system. Academic advisers can clear advising flags through MyUTK at <a href="http://myutk.utk.edu">http://myutk.utk.edu</a> beginning on Sept. 20. Circle Park Online, <a href="http://cpo.utk.edu">http://cpo.utk.edu</a>, will continue to be available for all other current term functions through December.</p>
<p>NOTE: A group of 1,500 students will test the system and register for Spring 2011 classes on Thursday, Sept. 23, between noon and 4 p.m. College faculty and staff authorized to do permissions into classes and overrides for prerequisites and registration restrictions should be ready to do this in Banner INB on that day.</p>
