Died August 2, 2008 in Fort Valley, GA.

He was vice president of student affairs at Kentucky State University. He then returned to Georgia where he accepted a position at Ft. Valley State University, also serving as vice president of student affairs. He received both his master’s degree and his doctorate (1994) from the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences.
