Died December 19, 2008 in Warner Robins, GA.

Bird served his country with pride and honor in the U.S. Air Force. He was a pilot and participated in the Korean conflict. Subsequent to his military career, he worked as a civil servant for many years, and then five years as an electrical engineer at Support Systems Associates, Inc. He received his bachelor’s degree from the College of Engineering.
