Dr. William Bass, world-renowned forensic anthropology expert and founder of the UT Forensic Anthropology Center (aka, the “Body Farm”), delivered a presentation about the cremation process on Wednesday, Jan. 14, in the University Center. About 950 alumni, friends, and community members attended the event. Bass was joined by the co-author of his famous books, Jon Jefferson, and they signed copies of their books. If you weren’t able to attend the event or would like to see it again, we will have a webcast of it featured online soon. Stay tuned to the website!
Former basketball star Dane Bradshaw ’06 gave an insightful, motivational, and humorous talk to a crowd of about 85 alumni, friends, and community members before the UT versus Memphis basketball game on Saturday, Jan. 24, in the McClung Museum Auditorium. Bradshaw also signed copies of his book, Vertical Leap.
