Upcoming Young Alumni events are scheduled for Knoxville, Washington, D.C., and Nashville. In addition, events in Memphis, Atlanta, Ga., and Charlotte, N.C., are being planned, so be sure to check the website often for updates and details. Please e-mail youngalumni@utk.edu with suggestions on programs that you would be interested in attending over the next year!

Thanks to all 52,000 Young Alumni who have in one way or another supported the Big Orange! More than 15 events have been held for UT Knoxville Young Alumni within the past 12 months, and a total of over 1,200 alumni attended those events.

Other Young Alumni notes of interest:

• The Fall 2009 Young Alumni Weekend will take place on October 2-3 in Knoxville. Details and invitations will be sent via e-mail in July.
• The first Young Alumni Council Scholarship will be awarded this fall and the endowment for the scholarship has also been started. Details are available online.
