Billy M. McLemore, of Memphis, died October 15, 2009. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, receiving his bachelor’s degree from the College of Engineering. He served with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was a founding member of Tennessee Grocers Association. Mr. McLemore’s contributions to the grocery industry were recognized with the Spirit of America Award from the National Grocers Association.
