Fred Raymond Hurt, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died September 30, 2009. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, receving his bachelor’s degree from the College of Business Administration. A fighter pilot during WWII in the Pacific Theater, he was called back during the Korean War and retired from military service with the rank of major. Prominent in Indianapolis business, Fred operated Manpower Temporary Services for over 40 years.
