Died September 26, 2009, in Nashville, TN. Conn was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and served as a U.S. Marine during WWII in the South Pacific. He retired from the U.S. Geological Survey after forty years of service. He received his bachelor’s degree from the College of Engineering.
