Robert (Bob) Merritt, of Knoxville, died October 16, 2009. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, receiving his master’s degree from the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences. Bob retired from Knox County Schools after 39 years of service, having taught at Ridgedale and Northwest Schools.
