Smokey Spotted

By Land, Air and Sea

The Univeristy of Tennessee wants you to take Smokey all over the world. So far, there’s been a doggone good response. During fall semester, UT’s Ready for the World program challenged faculty, staff, students, and alumni to wear “Where in the World Is Smokey?” T-shirts emblazoned with the renowned hound’s picture. They wore their shirts while traveling abroad or just busying around their own hometowns, then sent their pictures to UT to post on its Ready for the World Web site.

Where in the World is Smokey? T-shirts have been spotted on six continents, in 16 states, and in the District of Columbia.

The challenge continues. To request a Where in the World is Smokey? T-shirt, complete the form at http://www.utk.edu/readyfortheworld/smokey/request.php.

Where in the World is Smokey? encourages students, faculty, staff, and alumni to share their experiences and draw attention to the Ready for the World initiative.
