Theodore M. Swingle, Sr., of Chattanooga, TN, died October 20, 2011. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Engineering, and served in the Signal Corps during WWII. Theodore worked for the TVA following the war and retired in 1979 as Chief of Communications Branch.

Amy was a retired educator after 42 years of teaching in Knox County at Powell High School where she taught Latin, French, Spanish, English, US and Tennessee History.
