Jon Thomas Moore, of Chuckey, TN, died October 17, 2011. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech, a master’s degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Engineering, and a doctor’s degree from the University of Virginia. Jon retired from Eastman Chemical Company as a Research Fellow after 29 years of service.

John L. Nevans, of Dayton, TN, died December 9, 2010. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Argicultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

William Stephen Hinton, of Jacksonville Beach, FL, died August 10, 2011. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Business Administration. He began his professional career at the family owned Post Sign Company and later at Cummings Sign Company. He retired from the sign business in 2004.

Ronald Wayne “Ronnie” Stevens, of Memphis, died June 9, 2011. Ronnie earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Engineering and returned to Memphis to become President of Stevens Electric, Co., a family owned business.

Mary Alice Candler, of Castle Rock, CO, died April 24, 2011. She earned a bachelor’s degree (1965) and a master’s degree (1966) from the University of Tennessee both from the College of Home Economics. Following service in the U.S. Navy, he graduated from East Tennessee State University and earned a doctor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Law. He was an attorney in Knoxville and a former Assistant D.A. in Hamblen County.

Barbara “Diane” Fellers died December 7, 2010. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences.

James Ernest Gray, of Nashville, died July 28, 2010. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Business Administration. During WWII, Jim was attached with the C Company 424th Infantry Regiment 106th Infantry Division and was decorated with the Combat Infantry Badge 1st Award and Bronze Star, among other medals.
