Dean Rutledge Eichelberger, of Newport News, VA, died February 2, 2012. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Business Administration. As a member of the UT baseball team, he served as the team captain and was named to the all SEC team.

Dana Matthew Cowell, of Stockton, CA, died January 21, 2012. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Tennessee and worked for 26 years with the California Department of Transportation in the Sacramento, Marysville, Stockton and Oakland districts. He served as Deputy District Director, Planning and Local Assistance.

Brian McKensie Southern, of East Greenwich, RI, died December 16, 2011. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Engineering and had a professional career as a chemical engineer.

Michael S. Hughes, of Charlotte, NC, died December 1, 2011. Michael graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Engineering and was employed as a professional licensed civil engineer.

Jeffrey D. Field, of Knoxville, died November 24, 2011. Jeff was an All-American javelin thrower for the University of Tennessee Track Team and graduated from UT with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences. He taught technology in the Knox County School District.

Patricia A. Woliver, of Lynn Haven, FL, died November 26, 2011. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Business Administration and was employed by Orlando Steel as a treasurer and financial controller.

Kim A. Woliver, of Lynn Haven, FL, died November 26, 2011. Kim was a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree (1983) and a master’s degree (1984) both from the College of Engineering and later earned a Professional Engineering Certificate. He was Associate Vice President of Atkins Global.
