The Accomplished Alumni Program brings noteworthy alumni back to campus to discuss their journeys to success with students, faculty, staff, and fellow alumni. Recently honored alumni include Marshall Ramsey, Donnie Smith, and Keith Taylor.

Mike Keith, director of broadcasting for the Tennessee Titans, and Scott Pearson, surgeon and medical thriller novelist, recently spoke with UT Knoxville students as Accomplished Alumni.

Philip Jacobs, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Service Corporation International, and Mickey Bilbrey, vice president of eastern operations for Quorum Health Resources, visited campus in March as part of the Accomplished Alumni program.

Brigadier General William Beard, Carol and Jim Tevepaugh, Jason Little, and Allan Houston are the latest UT Knoxville grads to be honored as Accomplished Alumni.

Steve Metcalf, president of the Policy Group Inc., and Jacquie Lawing Ebert, a partner for GMMB, recently visited campus and have been named Accomplished Alumni.

Judge Nannette Baker visited campus in October and was recognized as an Accomplished Alumna. During her visit, Judge Baker spoke to a group of students in the College of Law and to a group of students in the College of Communication and Information.

Chris Whittle visited campus recently and was recognized as an Accomplished Alumnus. Whittle spoke on “The Rise of Global Schooling” to more than 100 people at the Howard Baker Center for Public Policy. His lecture was hosted by UT’s Center for Educational Leadership and the Office of Alumni Affairs.

Noted artists Bill FitzGibbons and Creighton Michael and Coca-Cola Company finance leader Shirley Broadbery recently visited campus.

Margaret Scobey, U.S. Ambassador to Egypt and former U.S. Ambassador to Syria, visited campus on Friday, September 10, to participate in the Accomplished Alumni Program.

Opera performer and Accomplished Alumna Delores Ziegler returned to UT Knoxville on July 28 to launch the art-themed 2010 Alumni Summer College.
