Douglas Leon Atkins (1953) was a UT All-America football player who went on to play for the Chicago Bears, the Cleveland Browns, and the New Orleans Saints. He is a member of the National Football Foundation’s National Football Foundation’s College Football Hall of Fame and the Professional Football Hall of Fame.
