Benita Fitzgerald Mosley (1984) won the Olympic gold medal in 100-meter hurdles in 1984. She was an All-America and NCAA champion. She is president of Women in Cable and Telecommunications.

In the 2008 Summer Olympics, Tennessee Volunteers weren’t just orange. They were also gold and silver. Four current students and 12 former students participated in the games. Collectively, they brought home three gold and three silver medals.
