Frank Emanuel (1968), an All-America linebacker in 1965, is a member of the National Football Hall of Fame.He lives in Tampa and heads Frank Emanuel Associates.

Bobby Dodd attended UT from 1928 to 1930. He was a football All America in 1930 and was head coach at Georgia Tech from 1945 to 1966. He is a member of the National Football Foundation’s College Football Hall of Fame as both a player and coach.

Steve DeLong was a Vol football All America and winner of the Outland Trophy. He played professionally with the San Diego Chargers and the Chicago Bears. He is in the National Football Foundation’s College Football Hall of Fame.

Robert (Bob) Corker is a U.S. senator from Tennessee and former mayor of Chattanooga. He also served as Tennessee commissioner of finance and administration.

Douglas Leon Atkins (1953) was a UT All-America football player who went on to play for the Chicago Bears, the Cleveland Browns, and the New Orleans Saints.
