Cheek Announces Administrative Changes Regarding Top 25 Effort, Reaccreditation
Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek has announced administrative changes to continue the university's focus on becoming a Top 25 public research university and to prepare for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools re-accreditation review in 2015.

Have faculty and students been involved and supportive in Top 25 activities? How about the deans?
Five teams were appointed to develop implementation plans for the five priority areas. Each team was led by a UT executive-level administrator and had representation from UT faculty and staff. The teams developed a communications strategy that engaged stakeholders across the campus, including deans, associate deans, faculty, students, and staff.
