Grant Rigney (‘19), a chemical and biomolecular engineering major and member of our Haslam Scholars program, was selected as UT’s eighth Rhodes Scholar in 2018. His undergraduate career included service as editor-in-chief of UT’s undergraduate research journal Pursuit and certification as a nursing assistant. Rigney, a fiddle and mandolin player who is also a private pilot, is pursuing a master’s degree in evidence-based social intervention and policy evaluation at the University of Oxford.
