ART & PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS

In this study area, you’ll have the chance to explore a wide range of options in music, theatre, and fine arts. Our courses and professors will challenge you to expand your imagination, evolve your talents, and demonstrate your skills to the world.

Where you’ll study
Our art and performance programs fall within our College of Arts and Sciences and our Natalie L. Haslam College of Music. You’ll find programs like printmaking, ceramics, and acting in the College of Arts and Sciences. And programs like choral conducting, percussion instruments, and composition are located in the College of Music.


I could write and direct short films, grip and gaff, shoot documentaries, learn the ins and outs of producing and budgeting a major motion picture, build sets and characters for stop motion animation—the possibilities were endless for what I was able to gain from my education. If I wanted to learn how to do something, the tools and support were only a phone call or email away.
